As you probably know, I was on KKTV’s Moms Everyday on Friday, the 24th (how could you not–we plastered it everywhere!) and I took the host, Jen Lennon a hostess basket with goodies I made and found at Goodwill and the Dollar Tree…here’s the recipes I used and the items I bought that you could find at a local thrift store/dollar store….all for under $9.00….which would be the amount you’d spend on a bottle of wine (or more) or a bouquet of flowers.

Penzeys is my favorite place to buy spices and we’re fortunate to have one here in the Springs. They have really great spices and good prices. If you order their catalog they always have a “special” coupon inside and this month it’s for a FREE 1/2 cup jar of Ruth Ann’s Muskego Ave Chicken and Fish Seasoning (a $5.79 value).
April’s Hostess Gift Ideas….
I think it’s nice to bring a hostess gift when going to someone’s house for dinner. This month I got most of the items at the Dollar Tree store and a few things from Goodwill…..if you have the budget to spend more money, you could use these ideas and just buy more expensive items….(I personally would be happy to be gifted with any of these!)
