This recipe does take 3 hours to slow cook so you’d probably want to make it on the weekend, if you work out of the home. This makes a delicious meal for dinner, brunch or even breakfast! We all tasted this and everyone agreed it’s wonderful.

Here’s a meatless meal that’s hearty, easy, and delicious. I did try the mushroom sauce using just fresh button mushrooms and then tried it with dried mushrooms mixed with the fresh, and it really did make a difference.

You can use any mild white fish in this recipe, depending on what’s on sale and what your family likes. Gently poaching the fish in a vegetable-infused broth makes the fish very tender. This entire meal comes in under $10 for a family of four AND can be cooked in about 30 minutes.
