I have a “problem” with shoes…..which is, I own way too many and still want more! And this time of year means I can pull all my boots out, which I’ll pretty much wear till spring. I now have myself on a shoe “budget” and don’t buy more than one…ok, maybe two, pairs a season. If I buy only one new pair this season, it will be boots. Here’s some great styles that cost $50 or less from stores that are in most areas.
RIDING BOOTS –
You can pair these classic style boots with skinny pants (tucked in) or a skirt long enough to cover the tops.
LACE-UPS –
Laces are big this season. Whether you choose color-blocking, animal prints or playful hardware…these will add an instant “update” to slim pants or a short skirt.
WEDGE –
These go with everything…and the wedge heels are super comfortable
RAIN –
These come in so many fun colors and styles….easy to look fashionable and keep your feet dry.
BOOTIES –
These can be worn with pencil skirts, skinny jeans, leggings, dresses and flared pants.
Boot Tips
Here’s some totally free ways to keep your taller boots standing straight and easier to store…and keep them from creasing…..no need to spend money on boot inserts.
Roll up a magazines and put in your boots…or use empty paper towel rolls….or empty water bottles.
I could have added about 50 more pairs but I’ll save a few other styles for later….
