Snake Print Accessories and Clothes… Classic/Trendy/Edgy or Bold…All Under $35

2013 is the Chinese Year of the Snake…and snake prints just so happen to be one of the hottest new ways to add drama, sophistication and “ssssassss” to your wardrobe. It seems like it’s always easy to find hot styles that are expensive…I found tons of great shoes and bags that cost in the hundreds of dollars. But there’s always a bargain to be found, which I did, at some of the most popular chain stores. Whether you want to accessorize or be more bold, here’s something for anyone to try and everything’s under $35.

Ankle Print Pants

01These Liz Claiborne snake print ankle pants are on sale for $14 at JC Penney. These are great for year-round wear paired with a sweater or blazer for the cooler months and a tank for the warmer. Sandals or flats keep them casual or dress them up with a pair of killer heels.

Ballet Flats

02These snake print ballet flats from Target come in teal or brown and cost $29.99 (and they are part of a buy 1 get 1 50% off sale right now). These would look cute with cropped pants, rolled up jeans, shorts or a little skirt.

Zip-Front Jacket

03Love This! Macy’s has this NY Collection Snake-Print Zip Front Jacket on sale for $26.99, (it was $54.00) which makes it more budget friendly. It’s lightweight, which can take you in to spring and would look great with a little black dress, jeans, pants or a hot mini skirt. It comes in sizes from extra-small to extra-large.

Long-sleeve Print Wrap

04This long sleeve, metallic snake print wrap will ensure you make a memorable entrance wherever you go! On sale at Macy’s for $32.99. You’ll want to keep your accessories neutral and minimal with this much print.

Dress Pumps

05Who would have thought you could find these at Wal-Mart? And for only $18. These are classic but with the cap toe, the bit of snake print and colorblocking….all hot trends….at Walmart!

Print Tank

06This Covington tank from Kmart ($21.99) with its bold snake print is light and stretchy, for a comfortable but chic look.

Mini-Tote

07Another great find from Kmart….$15.99 for this mini tote, which is roomy enough for all your essentials without being too big and bulky.

Metal Bangle Set

08A 3 piece snake print metal bangle set for only $5.94 from Target….an easy and inexpensive way to add just a touch of an animal “feel” without a lot of commitment.

Platform Heels

09If you haven’t tried wearing platform heels, you’ll be amazed at how easy and comfortable they are to wear. These taupe peep toe heels don’t look like they come from “Wal-Mart”!

Snake Print Sandals

10I just ordered these before they run out! Old Navy snake print sandals on clearance for only $7.97….I’ve paid more for plain old flip-flops!

Snake Print Scarf

11Another fabulous find for under $20….this beautiful scarf from Kohl’s is $18.99 and will look great on anyone! I think it looks a lot more expensive.

Cat-eye Sunglasses

12Cat eye sunglasses with a bit of snake print…at Kohls for $17.99. Cute, trendy yet classic, and they add a bit of wow factor on a sunny day.

Magnetic Nail Color

13For those who love their nail art….Essie’s Snakeskin Magnetic Nail Color ($10.99 at Target).

Regardless of your age or body shape, anyone can easily add a bit or a lot of snake print to their ensemble. Just make sure you don’t wear it head to toe! From classic to edgy….it’s a look that’s stylish year after year. And at these prices, you can indulge your inner “animal”.
