March Beauty Buys….$10 Or Less

Makeup can be expensive. Sometimes you’re paying for a superior product with ingredients that are more costly but a lot of times, you’re simply paying more money because of that brand’s packaging, advertising, and overhead. Can you spend less money on beauty products and still get great results? Absolutely! There are inexpensive products out there that work just as well as the more expensive products. Of course there are cosmetics that really do work better and cost more, so if you save money on some of the basics, you’ll have the extra cash to spend on the products that do warrant a higher price.

L’Oreal Paris True Match Crayon Concealer

220It knocks out dark circles for $8.99 (at Walgreens). This concealer comes in 6 easy to match shades, blends easily, offers full coverage and the tapered tip fits into hard-to-reach places.

Rimmel London BB Cream

0360734256251_300X300$6.44 at Wal-Mart. This cream was developed specifically for women who prefer not to wear foundation. It’s a 9-in-1 skin perfecting makeup that provides both skin care and makeup benefits in one easy step: primes, moisturizes, minimizes pores, conceals, covers, smooths, mattifies, brightens and helps protect. Available in 3 shades with SPF 25 sunscreen.

Hard Candy Top Ten Eyeshadow

Untitled-1I have tried these eyeshadows and love them. This comes in 5 color palettes with 10 shades in each one with a mirror and brush included. The shadows are easy to blend, don’t crease and you can create a natural look or a smokey one with the variety of colors. Six dollars at Walmart.

E.L.F. Jumbo Lip Gloss Stick

220aThis super cheap lip gloss stick is a tinted lip color that glides on like a lipstick but looks like a gloss and is no different from the more expensive ones. Delivers just the right hit of color and shine with moisturizing jojoba and vitamin E….comes in 4 shades and cost only $2 at Walgreens.

E.L.F. Blush & Bronzing Cream

83606_b_900px_100006This dual blush & bronzing cream provides a rosy flush or a golden glow. A cream-to-powder formula ($3.00), that highlights and contours….I personally love E.L.F. makeup products and always have excellent results.

CoverGirl Natural Lash Mascara

11206267This mascara ($4.24 at Target) can be used on your lashes and brows…tames brows and creates natural-looking feather-light lashes with a clear, conditioning gel formula.

CoverGirl Clump Crusher

Untitled-2The innovative brush on this mascara ($6.94 Walmart) has a curved brush that produces lash-loading coverage with a fine-tooth comb side that evenly distributes it for a no-clump look.

Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation

Untitled-3This foundation ($7.99 at CVS Pharmacy) comes in lots of shades. The coverage is light-weight with no cakey, mask-like results.

L’Oreal Paris Colour Caresse Shine Stain

220cA lip stain that doesn’t dry out your lips? This stain ($9.99 at Walgreens) has the power of a stain with lip-gloss luster. Packed with Omega 3, vitamin E and argon oil, there’s no sticky feel and will keep your lips hydrated for up to 6 hours. This comes in 12 shades and the color lasts!

Almay Intense 1-Color Liquid Shadow and Color Primer

14259628_121009003000This shadow and primer ($6.79 at Target) comes in 4 shades for blue, brown, hazel and green eyes. You can wear it alone for a splash of color or layer under powder shadow for a bolder, more enhanced look. Lasts for hours without creasing or fading.
