The news has reported that the average family will spend over $600 per child for back-to-school supplies, clothing, gadgets, etc. That’s a lot of money, especially when the budget is already tight. Last year we had a couple of back-to-school contests for the kids and found our winners a ton of great clothes. And let me just say, I had a blast meeting the kids, they were all so polite and it was just a couple of fun days.
So, of course I figured we should do it again this year. It’s simple to enter….
- Leave a comment telling us why you would like your child to win and we’ll randomly draw a winner.
- The contest starts today (Thursday, July 25th) and will run through Sunday, July 28th.
- We’ll announce our winner on Monday the 29th.
- Your child has to be in school and you need to be able to meet me at a local Discover Goodwill (Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Pueblo, Fountain.) We’ll find some cute clothes, up to $25 worth that your child will like and want to wear!
If you have a friend who has children and you know the family’s tight on money, you can certainly enter them. One of our winners from last year was entered by a friend and her mom was very appreciative!
