I personally don’t like spending a lot of money on “party” outfits since I wear them less than anything else in my closet. This is the time of year, at least for me, where I do need a festive outfit or two for holiday parties, end of the year events, etc. So what do I do? Head to Discover Goodwill, or any other thrift or consignment store and search for something that looks good on me, is suitable for whatever dressy event we’re going to and isn’t going to cost a lot of money.
Our newest Discover Goodwill contest can help you find a “new” outfit for the upcoming holidays and it’s easy to enter.
- All you have to do is leave a comment as to why you (or someone you know,) needs/wants a fabulous “new” frock.
- The contest starts today, Thursday, November 7th and runs through Sunday, November 10th. We’ll announce our winner Monday, November 11th.
- The winner needs to be able to meet me at a local Goodwill (Colorado Springs, Woodland Park, Pueblo, Fountain) and allow us to photograph what we find and put it on our site. We’ll pay for your outfit (up to $25) and have fun while shopping.
