I love the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo here in Colorado Springs and I’m always so happy when I have tickets to give away.
CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN ZOO –
At an elevation of 6,800 feet above sea level, it’s America’s only mountainside zoo and one of my very favorite places to visit. With 146 picturesque acres and over 950 animals of every variety, you’ll find plenty to do and see. In 2012 TripAdvisor voted our Cheyenne Mountain Zoo as one of the top ten zoos in America. Of course there’s a ton of animals to visit like the giraffes and meerkats in the African Rift Valley, all the cats in the Asian Highlands, or the powerful grizzlies in the Rocky Mountain Wild. There’s also the Mountaineer Sky Ride where you can fly over the zoo, which I have to admit is too scary for me! There’s also My Big Backyard that the kids will love. Before you leave, make sure you drive up to the historic Will Rogers Shrine of the Sun, which is included in your zoo visit.
The zoo is open year round so you could use your tickets now or wait till it gets a bit warmer.

The Cheyenne Mountain Zoo is such a fun place! It is such a delightful day to walk and visit all of the zoo animals with my son. Very peaceful scenery!
