Toscano Interiors, formerly located in Manitou Springs (Colorado,) had their Grand Opening for their new location in Widefield and the new store is fabulous! The minute, no, the second I walked into it, I didn’t want to leave. Owner Candance Toscano has the same effect…once you meet her, you just want to hang out with her for the rest of the day. The store is located in a charming older home with each room staged with locally designed art, furniture, décor and more. Everything is unique and one-of-a-kind.
I had visited the store when it was in Manitou, which was of course cute but now that Candance has so much more room, well, it’s just fabulous. (I keep using the word fabulous but I can’t help it, that’s how I felt.) Candance loves to recycle, upcycle, and make the old look new again.
I literally could have spent an hour in each room, there’s SO MUCH to look at…but it doesn’t feel crowded or claustrophobic.
I love how Candance explains her philosophy…

I wanted this piece but absolutely couldn’t think of where I’d put it. Candance will be coming to my own house and helping me out with a couple of my “blah” rooms. Maybe she’ll find a place?

I felt a connection in some weird way to this rhino but just didn’t know where I’d put it! I just love it though.
