I love ideas that can make your life easier, especially when you don’t have to spend a ton in order to recreate those ideas. Here are 12 clever and inexpensive ways you can organize crafting supplies, toys, and so much more. Because who wants to spend more on specialty organizing containers than what you’re actually organizing?
You can find these containers for next to nothing. I actually found this at Goodwill for 59 cents. The directions for this ribbon organizer said to use dowels (which you can find at any home-improvement store,) but for “testing” purposes, I just used two wood skewers I had on hand.
Another idea mentioned below that I especially liked was using chalk to write on drawers so the kids know what goes where. If your kids can’t read yet, you could always draw pictures.
