May Beauty Finds At The Dollar Tree (Love These!) ….Great For Travel Too

Love, love, love shopping at the Dollar Tree stores (or any dollar store where everything is actually only a dollar.) Two of the items I picked up this month were almost exact duplicates of similar items I bought at a higher dollar amount and they worked the same.

Here’s my top five favorites this month:

Blissful Feet Pod –

It’s that time of year where you’re wearing shoe styles that show off your feet and tootsies. And it doesn’t matter how expensive or fashionable your foot wear, if your feet are dry, cracked, and rough, it’s going to show. This transformed my feet from rough to soft after the first use, it was gentle,  and cost less than the Ped Egg I tried. I couldn’t tell any difference between the two except for the price. This Personal Touch Blissful Feet Pod cost $1.00 versus the $9.99 I paid for the Ped Egg. This is a great tool for summer trips too-doesn’t take up much room in a suitcase and will keep your feet looking like you just got a pedicure.

L.A. Colors Eye Shadow –

Twelve shades for one dollar! This palette of shadows (Chic-BEP420) was just one of four different shades the store had in stock. The texture is silky smooth and glided on evenly for a soft, satin finish. After wearing it all day, I found it was long-lasting and didn’t crease. The color of one shade looked great alone, for a natural look  but I also had success with blending several of the colors for a more dramatic look. This is also a great product to take along on a trip because the colors are so versatile….twelve shades in one package for a dollar!

Smart Bra Clips –

These really do work as well as the more expensive brands. There are eight clips in each package, two each of white, black, nude and clear….again, for one dollar. They keep bra straps where they belong. These are perfect when wearing racer back tops without having to buy a special bra. It also prevents straps from being visible with T-shirts, tank tops, dresses and work out wear. AND it helps boost your cleavage! Just by sliding the bra clip to the desired area of your back can change the whole look. Another easy item to pack for a trip….saves you from having to take multiple bras for different outfits.

High Tea Lavender Floral Bath Salts and Bubble Bath –

This lavender fragrance smells so good! It’s subtle yet fragrant. One capful of the salts, added to a warm bath, created a soothing body experience and the bubble bath added tons of wonderfully scented bubbles…..and made my skin super smooth. I like traveling with bath salts because you can toss them in the tub for a relaxing evening after sight-seeing and you don’t have to worry about leaks in your suitcase.

Blistex Raspberry Lemonade Blast Lip Protectant –

This just smells like summer! SPF 15 protection, mouth-watering combination of luscious raspberries and sweet lemonade, and fortified with anti-oxidant vitamins C and E….A smooth-gliding balm that leaves lips feeling protected and totally juicy. Found the same item at other stores for anywhere from $1.49 to $2.49.

I bought all these items at the Dollar Tree for $1.00…..all excellent items for summer and travel.
