CROCK POT PULLED PORK With PEPERONCINI PEPPERS (Or Beef Or Chicken)

This recipe couldn’t be easier! Two ingredients and a crock pot. And you can substitute beef or chicken for the pork.

PULLED PORK

Prep Time: 5 minutes            Cook Time: 4 to 8 hours              Serves: 4 to 6

Ingredients:

2 Lb boneless pork roast (loin, shoulder or butt)

16 oz jar pepperoncini peppers

Directions – 

Cut stems off peppers, reserving liquid. Put pork roast in crock pot, add peppers and reserved liquid. Cook on low for approximately 8 hours or on high for approximately 4 hours, until meat is tender. Pull roast out, place on a cutting board and shred, using two forks. Return roast to slow cooker, cover and cook for about 15 more minutes.

PULLED BEEF

Prep Time: 5 minutes           Cook Time: 8 to 10 hours          Serves: approximately 6

Ingredients:

2 pounds boneless beef roast

16 ounce jar pepperoncini peppers

Directions:

Cut stems off peppers, reserving liquid. Put pork roast in crock pot, add peppers and reserved liquid. Cook on low for approximately 8 to 10 hours, until meat is tender. Pull roast out, place on cutting board and shred, using two forks. Return roast to slow cooker, cover and cook for about 15 more minutes.

 

PULLED CHICKEN

Prep Time: 5 minutes        Cook Time: 4 to 6 hours          Serves: approximately 6

Ingredients:

2 pounds boneless chicken breast or thighs

16 oz jar pepperoncini peppers

Directions:

Cut stems off peppers, reserving liquid. Put chicken in crock pot, add peppers and reserved liquid. Cook on low for approximately 6 hours or on high for approximately 4 hours. Pull chicken out, place on cutting board and shred, using two forks. Return chicken to slow cooker, cover and cook for about 15 more minutes.
