Chile-and-Citrus-Rubbed Chicken with Potatoes - Feeds 4 for $10 - 719woman.com

I have a subscription to bon appetit magazine which is one of my very favorite places to find new recipes. A lot of the recipes are more complex and expensive than what I typically share as “budget-friendly” or quick and easy meals but this month I found one that just wowed us. And even better, I was […]

Roasted Garlic Gnocchi With Brown Sage Butter, Pork Chops & Steamed Carrots – $10 Or Less Meal

A couple of weeks ago I learned how to make gnocchi from The Cliff House at Pikes Peak Executive Chef, Justin Boudouin. I couldn’t believe how easy AND cheap it was. We’re serving this with pan cooked pork chops that I simply cooked in a skillet with olive oil, salt and pepper. Carrots were also on sale so I’m steaming them in the microwave to round out the meal.

Cocoa-Nutty Lime Tart (DELICIOUS & Gluten-Free)

I was so excited to make this lime tart recipe that I ran across in my latest Good Housekeeping magazine (April 2017) because it looked delicious and it was gluten-free. I have never been that great of a baker and since being diagnosed with celiac disease I certainly haven’t been that creative when it comes […]

Radishes…More Than Just A Garnish (Spicy, Delicious, Affordable & Nutritious)

Radishes...More Than Just A Garnish (Spicy, Delicious, Affordable & Nutritious) - 719woman.com

A couple of years ago I really made an effort to incorporate and add more veggies to our diet, without eating the same old “usual” vegetables I was familiar with. (Which we did and continue to do so.) But most of the time the more unusual or uncommon the veg is, the more expensive it […]
